notanATS vs CVViZ

Both cost about $99 a month. They disagree about what should be read.

The short version

CVViZ reads the résumé for you. It parses and ranks applicants on skills, experience, and job relevance instead of raw keywords, and it bundles sourcing and applicant tracking around that.

notanATS does not read the résumé to build your shortlist. The hiring manager spends 20 minutes describing what the role actually requires, then every applicant has a structured conversation about work they have really done, and each score points back at the applicant’s own words.

So the real question is not which one ranks better. It is whether you want a better reading of what someone wrote about themselves, or a record of what they can actually explain.

When to choose notanATS

  • You already have an ATS and the part that hurts is screening.
  • You want to know what someone did, not what they wrote.
  • You need to defend a shortlist with evidence, not a match percentage.
  • You care that every applicant hears something specific back.

When to choose CVViZ

  • You want sourcing, tracking, and screening from one vendor.
  • You are replacing an ATS, not adding to one.
  • Your volume per role is high enough that a conversation with everyone is not realistic.

The fastest way to judge this is to run it. Two postings, unlimited completed screenings, no credit card.
